Mission

"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity" 1 Timothy 4:12.

Goals

1. Help prepare the youth for a friendship/relationship with Christ that will carry them into eternity.
2. Get the youth to understand their role at Beacon Light is important to the church body.
3. Instilling the importance of being unified as one in the body of Christ.

Youth Ministries means more than Sabbath School every week. Our youth ministry provides support and encouragement for young people at what can be a most critical part of their Christian experience.

The Adventist Youth Society holds meetings on the 1st and 3rd Sabbath of each month.  They start 1 hour prior to sunset and end at sunset with a vesper closing the Sabbath.

Creating an environment where young people are safe to share and explore their faith, ask questions and openly express their challenges is one of the main goals of this ministry.

Of course, it would not be youth ministry without social time and lots of fun.  Check out the calendar for our next event.
